2nd Exploitation & Dissemination Open Day Workshop

The nanoMECommons Project held its 2nd Exploitation and Dissemination Open Day Workshop, as a hybrid event in Cambridge, UK, at Homerton College.

Over 60 people registered to participate in this event, more than half belong to external organisations, such as: Airbus, Siemens Industry Software, Johnson Matthey, NLR – Royal Netherlands Aerospace Centre,  Hexcel, Fraunhofer IFAM, Nanografi Nano Technology, CEA, Sintef, IMDEA, UCL, TU Wien, University of Malta, University of Bologna, Science and Technology Facilities Council-UKRI, GREMI, CNRS & University of Orléans, Hellenic Mediterranean University, Institute of Molecular Sciences, ePotentia, University of Cadiz, IIT Madras, Santiago de Compostela University, Software Imagination & Vision, SIGEA, and Temas Solutions.

This event had the participation of two European funded guest projects: DOME 4.0 (https://dome40.eu) and D-STANDART (https://d-standart.eu/).

1st Exploitation & Dissemination Open Day Workshop

The 1st nanoMECommons Exploitation and Dissemination Workshop was hosted by Ansys UK in Cambridge on the 3 & 4 July 2023, as a hybrid event.

This Workshop 40 people registered to participate, from which 14 belong to external organisations. The majority of participating organisations belong to industry.

Coordinators and key partners from sister projects were invited to participate in the Open Day. The guest participating projects were: i-Tribomat, DOME 4.0 and NANOPAT.

During both day sessions, very interesting and fruitful discussions took place among participants. Some of the topics discussed were related to the management of the databases, data quality and sustainability, data confidentiality, access, privacy issues and costs associated to running the data platform, after the end of the project.
